Can't Listen to Paul Harvey News ....

I still cannot listen to the Paul Harvey news --

I've tried using Camino, Netscape and Safari. My G4 iBook is updated with the latest software, and working perfectly. I am able to listen to tons of other audio files with no problems.

When I click on the link to listen to the Paul Harvey news, QuickTime opens up, but there is nothing to listen to. I've tried checking the settings in QuickTime, but cannot find any settings to stop QuickTime from opening up.

I've sent numerous messages to the Contact on the Paul Harvey news website, but have never received an answer. This problem started at least six months ago.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

The website states that the stream is available ony in Windows Media Player format. Did you try the last version of Windows Media Player. I know MS stopped supporting it but you may be able to download it. Of course, the next question is whether the format they are using is supported by the last Mac WMP,

Exactly what I was thinking .... Perhaps the Paul Harvey News is not compatible with my G4 iBook? I've run into this problem before, but not very often.

I have windows media player and it does NOT work so I think it is dependant on the latest windows version. Very narrow minded... wouldn't you say?

however...the good news... the podcast is available from iTunes. Did you try that?

I found this link with the Paul Harvey podcast, but it doesn't work in Camino, only Safari:

feed://www.ktrh.com/podcast/paulharvey.xml

I guess that's a ok substitute for now .... I found Paul Harvey podcasts for iTunes, but couldn't get the links to work in my iTunes (updated already).
