i recently bout a mac os x iBook from a friend who graduated and went else where to work on his masters. He gave me the installer cd's and 3 restore CDs and another cd. I was able to log into the iBook only twice and thereafter, its been asking me for a user name and password. But my friend who gave me the iBook, Peter, told me that there shouldnt be one on it. I need a way around this so that i log back into the mac please. i also notice that i only have installer cd one and i dont have the second CD. so that route wouldnt work for me. Could u help me plz.

Else you may be able to start up from that first CD of the install disks and there is a menu option to reset password, you may not need to use the latter disks you don;t have.
