Can't log in

I have an IMAC OS X. All of a sudden it won't let me log it. I can't seem to find an answer. What can I do? I've only had this computer let than a year.

Have you checked to see if your caps lock is on? If nothing else you will need to boot to your installer to use the password reset utility. If you need anymore guidance beyond the information I've given you on how to reset your password using the installer, just do a forum search because its probably been explained at least a thousand other times, so no need in me making it a thousand and one.
 
I must have done something wrong. I reinstalled and reset the passwords but my info on my calendar is gone. Is there anyway to get it back.
