Can't use Connect to Server...

Person that uses a Mac
When I try to connect to my Windows server using the Connect to Server... menu, I am getting a "Connection Failed, No response from server. Please try again." message box. However, I can use the Finders Network to find my sever and mount my shares just fine. This is OS 10.3.3, by the way. I done a fresh install of Panther a couple of months ago and I think this is the first time I've tried it since then, but I know that it was working before the reinstall. Anyone notice this?

On a side note, I had mentioned before that my Network icon had disappeared from the Finder (http://www.macosx.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42438) well, I just noticed that it's back for no apparent reason. :D It looks I exchanged one problem for another.
 
Nevermind... it looks like I just need to specify that it's a samba connection with smb://, though I didn't used to need to do that. Hmm.
 
Yeah, it should be smb://computername
And this icon problem you had before seems to be a sporadically thing. It happenes to me from time to time as well. Guess it's just a 'give_me_a_min' thing ;)
