"Every single password that you use or have used" is not going to work. You have to use the one correct password for your email account. If you have your accounts setup on another machine, open the email client that you use on that machine. Copy down the settings exactly as written. Remember that they may be case-sensitive. Also, spaces count as characters. Retype those settings in Mail. If you need additional help, then come back. This time give the name of your ISP. Some ISPs have special gotcha's that someone here may be aware of.

When this happened to me on Eudora, I found that my ISp had changed the authentication regime. I had to untick the "authentication" box.

If you are using Mail then I don't know if it's the same.

But you have to use the one and only correct password!!

Mail will report an incorrect password for various reasons - most of them having nothing to do with the password. Make sure that ALL your account settings are correct, including username, password and everything else. Make sure you email account is working by checking it via webmail.
