capturing video from a Cannon Powershot S230 using an iApp?

Is this possible. The only way that I've been able to capture the AVI videos from the powershot S230 is by using the software that comes with Cannon. There's no way to use iMovie or iDVD to get this to work? Thanks.

I think what you can do is open up Image Capture in your Applications folder and I believe that will allow you pull any kind of media off your camera. I can't say for sure because my Canon S100 is old-school and doesn't do movies.
