i get the following error every time i try to "./configure":
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables.
running osx 10.1 on an iMac (command and cc output)

configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables.
It's finding cc, so I'm guessing you installed the DevTools; however, did you install them under 10.0.x and not upgrade them with 10.1? The DevTools with 10.0 won't work under 10.1.
thanx for the info. the 10.1 upgrade was free at compusa. how do i get the dev tools upgrade? do i have to purchase it from apple? i can't find it to download anywhere
