CGI Scripts...

Hi!

I found a site that is using a CGI script that I would really like to use on my site. I would like to download the .PL files that contain the CGI source. I tried PageSucker but that just downloads the HTML that is printed when the script is accessed :(

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks!

Albert

The file is probably in the CGI-bin folder, which isn't normally in the site folder, it's normally in the top level, or even somewhere completely different if the site admin has redirected the Apache route to Perl-CGI (I think I'm right).

Also, you would more than likely be breaching copyright if you straight copied it from a site without permission! Either the CGI would be free but you would be stealing it from someone else site (who may have altered it) or it is a paid CGI which means not only would you be taking it from someone's site, but infringing on the programmers license!

Try http://www.scriptsearch.com for loads of various scripts (under the Perl section)!;)

Or send an e-mail to the site your trying to get it from!
