change x11 start up

Hi

A newbie to X11. After installing X11, on the bar at the top, I chose to start X11 in full screen mode. Now when I click the X11 button in Utilities, it open up a in a full-screen mode with an xterm window. How do I stop X11 from starting up in full screen mode please. Thanks in advance.
