Changing multiple file extentions

Is their anyway to change multiple file extentions at once in OSX rather than changing them one by one?

Thats only to change the application that opens the file, doesn't change the file extention

There's no standard way to do that in the Finder, but are several third-party utilities that let you rename batches of files. A few free ones:
