Changing the Dictionary Language

I use the Dictionary and Thesaurus relatively often as programs in OS X, and now that I am living in Germany and becoming bilingual, I am finding the need to use also the Dictionary in German. I know the program is out there... It's called 'Lexicon' and its the German version of Dictionary, for our Bratwurst-eating and Beer-drinking Mac brethren.... but... Where? I can't find it, not on the Apple site, not easily downlandable, anywhere. What's the deal? I just want to look up words like 'gesocks' and 'flutschen,' words that I can only find the meaning of online, without actually having to be online. Help would be Lovely. Thanks a million beforehand.

In 10.4, Dictionary application that comes with Mac OS X includes/d only English language translations, so even if your system would be changed to German, Dictionary had still everything in English.

If your system is 10.5, and you set it to German (System Preferences>International, then log out and back in), also Dictionary will launch in German. (In 10.4 all other applications instead).

I assume you have Leo bookmarked.. ;)

Leo is, naturally, my savior. However, my apartment doesn't have internet and in order to use LEO, I need access. So I've been looking for a free replacement that works without internet access. I have a program from Apimac, but it's only a trial program, and my 24 dollars would be better spent on food or beer. What can I say. I know the program is out there.... the german 'Lexikon' program.... I just need to find it... Anybody?
