What should I buy?

iPod - Around $400
eMac - Around $800
miniDV Cam - Around $450
PSOne - Around $150
New HD - Around $100

My business is doing suprisingly well (even though our websites not finished) and so I made a quick list of things I want, and things I need.

I need a new HD because currently 10 GB isn't doing it. I don't want a PS2 because I just feel it would be a waste of money, instead I want the fully portable PSOne. I've always wanted a MiniDV cam ever since I got my first Mac with iMovie on it, which has been a long time. I could use an eMac for both gaming and graphic design, kinda like a 2 for 1 McDonalds special. And finally, I wanted an iPod because it's also like a 2 for 1 special, I can use it for an MP3 player, and an external HD for my comp.

IMO:
definitely get the new HD
possibly: the ipod and PSone

why get a miniDV camera if you don't especially need one?
what computer do you have now, so we know if you need an eMac?

Forget the PS1.
Forget the iPod.
Forget the DV cam unless you need it.
eMac is not the most powerful machine. save for the next line of G4 towers.
I would go with the new HD. Go for a fairly large one. at least 50 GB I think.

I'm currently on a 1999 SE iBook (Clam shelled.)
So you can see the need for ether an eMac or HD, or even iPod there. I need the miniDV Cam for school projects, company commercials, skateboard videos, and all around ripping people off.
The PSOne was added to my list because it's so cheap, fun, and at the same time: TONY HAWKS PRO SKATER 3 RULES!!!

In that case, why not just buy an eMac, as you get an internal HD with it anyaways? and you probably need a new computer by now...

maybe buy that and a PS one?

Go for the cam, you deserve to have some fun.

Nothing beats making some goofy video.

iPods will be updated,the eMac will change, HD's will baloon and if you wait you can problably get a portable PS2.

You will have to wait quite some time before you DV camera will feel obsolete. Plus, tapes cost very little as opposed to things you would need to spend for the other things (iPod case, controllers, ect.)

I have a suspicion that people don't want Trip to have fun.

And, if you're buying a camera, get a Sony. </shamelessad>
