Choppy Audio

The audio on my Mac Book Pro, Intel, has become choppy. I use the music notation program Finale, and the only way to remedy the problem during playback is by turning off Airport, but then, I can't get on the net. Do you know of any fixes for this? Tech Support at Finale has no idea what to do. This must have something to do with Airport. Any suggestions?

Have you checked the Knowledge Base at Apple? In particular the 'Known Issues' in respect of Airport.
