OK, this really should have occurred to me before, but OS 9 doesn't use file permissions, so any user can access any other user's files simply by opening a classic app and using the open file dialogue.
As a system administrator I don't want to disable classic for all users, but is there another way of preventing users from opening other users files?
If there, is, then I can't believe apple haven't enabled it as default, as this makes all the advanced UNIX security features *completely* redundant! Any user can just use any text editor in classic to open a file in another users private folders, then save it as their own, edit the type/creator codes to the original files ones, and they have a fully working file.
Is this some F**k-up with my configuration of does everybody have this problem?
