If I preform a clean install of Jaguar on my G3 iBook will it also install OS 9? I prefer if OS 9 does not install. I got my first mac 8 months ago and never used os 9 and never will need it since I statered with OS X. thanks for the help.
Depends, you have to completely wipe or reformat that drive to get rid of the old. It is possible to install X over itself and leave the old files in place. If you have 9 on a different partition, then you will have to reformat that partition.
