Hi all

what are the most popular CMS runnign in Mac OS X?

Which one do you recommend for PHP ?

thanks

phpBB is a very popular, easily-modifiable, free forum software based on PHP. I've built an entire site from the ground up based on a phpBB forum (the aforementioned Nexus site).

Okay, I see what you mean. It isn't as much a question of what CMS will work on OS X (anything based on PHP, Perl, CGI, MySQL, etc.—basically any technology that works on OS X—will do) as what would you prefer. Basically, try the demos, maybe install a couple, and see what works. Try for PHP/MySQL-based systems, as these are two excellent, popular, free, open-source platforms to build on.

one thing to note.

usually, CMS has their own HTML Editor. Most of them only works on Internet Explorer 5.5 which we don't have on Mac System. Safari was built based on Gecko Engine, but the HTML Editor is built for Mozilla built browser. You only left with Thunderbird/Mozilla/Netscape.

Make sure you test the HTML Editor to see if it runs ok on your Mac.
