Cocoa AppleWorks?

Since Apple officially said that OS 9 is dead (for developers), then does that mean Apple's going to make a Cocoa version of AppleWorks? Why would they keep making it in Carbon if they said OS 9 is dead? Maybe this is why they haven't had a major update to it in a while because they're Cocoa-izing it? Just a thought.

There's no such thing as 'cocoaizing'. 'Carbonizing' means basically to adapt a classic Mac app to the reduced set of APIs that Carbon supplies.

The statement that OS 9 is dead for developers means that developers should target their Cocoa and/or Carbon releases to OS X rather than to OS 9/OS X compatibility.

I am really hoping OpenOffice is gonna do the busyness!:)

But by the looks of the screenshots, it's a long way off yet (looks like a Windows 95 version!!)
