Color Management Question

I use the Monaco Optix calibration device and software with my MBP and I'm getting different results between the MBP 15" LCD and the connected 20" Apple Cinema Display.

Two questions:

(1) Should I expect the images to be the same when both displays are calibrated?

(2) How do I achieve this?

Thanks,

The point of calibration is to ensure consistency between source and output. The process includes the replacement your bundled ColorSync profiles if they are no longer accurate. So the answer to Question (1) is "Yes." The answer to Question (2) is to follow the instructions which came with your calibration device.

Appologize for not being clear in my original question -- I have followed the instructions that came with the calibration device and the corresponding results are different for the two displays.

I was wonding if the inherent differences in the design / construction between the displays would result in differences.

I was also looking for anyone who has seen this issue in the past and what they did to correct.

Thanks again. :D
