Colour tool needed

Is there a Mac standalone tool that can show you what colour a hexadecimal colour code will produce? I am having to launch a graphics editor in order to do that using HexColorPicker, which adds itself into the colour selector. it would be nice if I had only to launch a little tool by itself.

Color Converter seems to be a hex to rgb code switcher, and Color Blender seems to want to mix two colours. I need to get only one colour, by plugging in the hexadecimal code and getting back a box filled with that colour. I had a nice little tool in Windows called (I think) HTML Color which would do that but have not been able to find such a thing for Mac using a search engine.

Color converter does exactly what you want. Click on HEX to RGB. Put your hex number into the box. Make sure you precede it with #. You then get the color and the RGB values.

Color blender also works. Just move the slider all the way to one side.

So what am I not understanding?
