I need something cleared up that has been driving me nuts for past couple of days. I love to use UNIX and I have a pretty good knowledge with it --I try to use it as much as I can--. I have a PowerBook G4 and currently use Mail.app as my communication utility and lately I've thought about a switch. I really like how Pine is used and its interface, but filtering for it is....well.....you know. To make a long story short, I plan to board onto Pine and use some type of UNIX filter such as Procmail or Sendmail. I've played around with both, so programming won't be that big of a deal. It seems it would be more logical to use Procmail and set up IMAP so that I would be able to use it. Am I right or wrong? Also, would I need any other program with Procmail?
