Conexion via modem

You can use a null modem between the two Macs if you need them to connect to one another (if they are in the same location). If not, then you need to enable Personal File Sharing and find out the IP address of the destination machine, go to Go-->Connect to Server from the menubar, and enter that IP address to connect to. Make sure you know the username and password resident on the destination machine as well.
