Hi,
I have virgin broadband, connected via the virgin modem, connected to the virgin supplied netgear router. The router is 802.11g, so I have an original (not the one with dual networks) airport extreme 802.11n. I keep both routers running so the virgin one provides wireless for my iphone, wii, windows laptop, etc, and the airport provides wireless for the computers, apple TV, etc. They both allow access to a partitioned hard disk connected to the airport for time machine and file storage. The virgin router is the DHCP server.
Basically, I want to make the airport take over as DHCP server so that I can take advantage of snow leopard's new 'wake on demand' feature, but no matter what I try I can't get it to work. I think I may need to input DNS servers into the airport, but I'm not sure, and don't know what the servers are anyway.
Please could you help?
Thanks,
Sam
