Connect to samba server running on port other than 139

I am using Mac OSX 10.4.0 and I need to connect to a Samba server on my network. The Samba server is running on a port other than 139 (the default port for SMB shares). So how can I specify the port number along with the IP of the Samba server.
I tried the Connect to server utility in Finder using the following format:
smb://IPAddress:Port​

But the above method failed.
Anyone knows how to get over this problem?
