connection lost

if i'm on the wrong site i'm sorry but i dont know where to go for this problem
i am using both a wireless keyboard and a reg plug in one...but it just started today saying...* connection lost*.... now is that my internet problem... i dont lose connection yet but it keeps coming up and saying that.... what does it mean?.... i hae been using my wireless since oct. so it cant be the battery plus i tried the eg one but it still comes up lost connection..... i have a g5 mac...
version...10.4 .11..and i use safari..so if anyone can at least tell me where to go for help that would be great....thank you so much.....

light on the keyboard lite up.....this is the newest keyboard and just got it in oct... could
it be i need to change the batteries....this is driving me crazy....thanks
