The facts:
- I just bought a new 15" Powerbook to replace my 12"
- I copied all the documents and preferences from my old to my new
- My 12" was working just fine on the network
- The Internet on the new 15" computer works just fine when plugged into the modem
- I'm using high speed SBC Yahoo!
- If I restart both the modem and the router, i can get my new computer to connect wirelessly from anywhere from 0 - 5 minutes; at some point during this time, it will stop working as I'm trying to access pages and give me a connection warning on the page it's trying to open. Meanwhile, the airport signal meter in the top right hand corner of my screen still says the connection is active.
- Once the connection dies, I've tried reconnecting by shutting down airport, turning it back on. But in doing this the airport will give me a connection error saying I can't get back on.
I don't know what is going on, and why this computer doesn't work and the other one did. I don't think it's a DNS problem, because after the connection is lost I still can't access pages with an IP address.
Any help would be super appreciated!!
