Control iTunes from across the room...a CHEAP solution?

Is there a cheaper solution for controlling iTunes via remote besides getting an AirPort Express and a Keyspan Express Remote? Don't really want a $200 remote control. It doesn't even have to be wireless as the distance I'm wanting to control it from is somewhat short (15ft). Any ideas?

Another option for remote control via Bluetooth is a free app called Romeo:

I use it to watch my DVDs too!
