I want to make an MP3 cd to play on my cd player, but obviously that wont work with all my AAC files, is there a way to convert to mp3?

preferably itd be nice if it converted while burning to cd and made the files temporary but i have a feeling thats not gonna happen :-/

I have the same feeling

- In the prefs, set the iTunes convertor to 'MP3' highest quality (otherwise you'll kill your files even more)
- Now make your CD list, convert it all, get bored, and burn.

got the first part, but im lost on the second part... its probably painfully obvious :-D

i need an ipod :o

Jason,

You want to convert AAC to MP3, right? Why not burn the AACs to a cd and them import the songs as MP3s?

That's the only way so far (until someone cracks AAC, which has probably already happened).

well i dont have to burn them to do that, all i have to do is like toast said... set prefs to import to mp3, select the songs, convert.... waste space ;)

i guess i'll just convert them to 192 mp3s.... should be about the same quality
