[COOL]: New Penguinn.com Site

Can't say I've seen Arden's web designs and my .mac site is fair, at best.
I'd say good effort, but some things to keep in mind...

Too much red.
Black and red don't mix well visually when it comes to text and backgrounds.
Text is way too large for the links.
Even on a good-sized screen at work, I still had to scroll horizontally to get everything in.
The design reminds me of a Kill Bill rip-off, but in red rather than yellow.
For the name of the site, I'd expect to see some kind of penguin logo somewhere on the page.

And you dont really need to see all of it... its just so that you can see the lines longer. I will set it up so that you can't scroll, so then the scroll bars won't be there. Everything will be in that iframe in the table that's all torn up.

Portfolio will be a different page, though still having those same links.
Links are pretty big, i agree. Good for people who can't read well then :D
 
Another thing you shouldn't do is run with scissors. Or tell your girlfriend she's "kinda ugly." Or walk around yelling obscenities. Or play "tag" on a freeway. Or break your own leg simply so you can park in a "handicapped" spot. Or buy a windows box. Or play "Twister" with your fiance's buxom sister. Or attack a country who is not a direct threat to you.

All things you shouldn't do.

Hmm, the site appears to be down, though the FTP server still works. Crap, that was one of the better free PHP-supporting hosts I could find.
