Copying Dvd Content to Desktop Nor to the Hd

Hi there
I have recently backed my files on DVD.
But now I can't copy them to my desktop.
I burned them with tiger.
Would appreciate help!

Would you clarify? Do the DVD discs mount in the Finder when you insert them? Did you back them up with Apple Backup, or with the Finder "burn" command?
