copying user files from one comp to another

Hi, guys. I just bought a G4 867 mhz and would like to kniw what files I need to copy from my DP450 to the new machine without having to start from scratch in setting up the machine. I have cloned the HD from the DP450 and have all the information on an external Firewire drive from which I can boot. Any suggestions?
 
you can save your user folder ... so you 'll have all your setting as they were in your DP 450
 
Zeus, do I not have to copy my internet settings as well,? Or are they in my user folder. I have also copied the applications from the clone to the Applications folder on the new machine.
I am currently accessing the net from the clone.
 
Scratch my question, Zeus. I successfully booted on the new computer and am connected to the net even as I speak. Thanks for the help. It just goes to show how easy it is to use a Mac. The whole thing took me 5 minutes.

Another question. Now my password does not work. I need to check it to see if it has changed. I used the same password when I was setting up the computer, so it should work. Any idea how I can get to it?
 
That worked like a charm, Zeus. After a slight problem with Stuffit and my Epson SC900 printer, everything is now working like a charm. This new machine is so quick that I will not miss the DP450 (which I'm giving to one of my sons).
