Yo, so I've been using a 2nd generation iPod Mini (5.2GB says in disk utility) to boot into Tiger via firewire (i have external disks but i'm on an original iMac G5 PPC running tiger 10.4.11 so the no boot into USB). I'm only using leop to do minor quick things, as, oy, I know this isn't good for the disk, but I need to use Tiger normally because I have to use classic non-stop and only bought leopard for the minor functions and the better iChat. Anyway, I was again restoring the image i altered from the Leopard DVD (was 8gb) onto the iPod... the progress said 'Copying Blocks' or whatever..,. then all of a sudden the power went out and now i can't get the computer to recognize the firewire disk in any way. This isn't really my area of expertise, but now the iPod mini can't be recognized in any form. I've tried a reset with the menu (all i can get is the iPod to restart and be stuck at the apple screen...) profiler can't identify the device, only that it's firewire and unknown or through the USB connector that it's USB and unknown... is there any way to do something more complicated through a program, terminal, firmware or what not... that will reset the disk? I don't believe the hard drive is broken
