I have had an iPhone for a year. It's been synched with our desktop computer via iTunes. We only have one user on the computer which we share.
On Monday I giving my wife an iPad for her birthday
But I need to tidy things up so that we keep our apps, Address Books and iCal etc, separate.
I'm proposing setting up a separate user for myself (at least) so that I can keep my iPhone synching separate. I have a new user, but when I connect the iphone I get the message "The iPhone connected to this computer is in use by another user". How do I transfer my iPhone account to my new user area, along with all the apps etc.?
I've had a look at Authorising and that doesn't work. I can't see anything in the iPhone Guide.....
