A friend's iBook G3's screen apparently has failed. He is thinking of getting a CRT monitor to use in its place. It would be a refurbished 20"-21" VGA/SVGA monitor from a major vendor. Can his iBook, which is about three years old, drive a large screen monitor at 1280x960 pixels in 24- or 32-bit color?
