Can you make a freeware menu bar that just grabs the users current IP and Computer Name and put it in the menu bar?
 
Uh, I'm not asking for freeware ideas. I already have my own share of freeware to develop - I want to do some custom commericial apps.

Also, I believe there is an app that does this already and I made an app callled DockIP that displays your IP address in the app's dock menu - www.kainjow.com. And, why would you want to show your username? What's the point?
 
I didn't say I wanted the username. NetBadge does the username and IP. All I need is the IP and Computer Name. I don't care about the username but that would be helpful also.
 
DockIP is not what I want. Where I work there are 100+ computer users. Several times we need to check the IP and Computer Name of a MAC. I have to kick the person who is using the computer off for a few minutes to check this. If it is in the menu bar I can glance over there shoulder quickly to see what it is. I still have to kick the person off using DockIP since I have to click on it to check what the IP is.

This is just a simple freeware app I need that I can't seem to find that why I was aksing.
