Cut a movie i two parts

Hi,

I have a 800MB mpg movie I'd like to put on two CD's. How do I make this 800MB file two 400MB files?

I guess ffmpegX isn't the easyest of tools. Is there any easyer way to do this? I don't want to do anything else with the movie than make it fit into two CD's?
