I've been trying to get kdelibs installed with DarwinPorts (OK, many say Fink is easier but I've already started and I want to finish).
All the deps installed without error but KDE requires autoconf 2.53. I had 2.59 and 2.60 in there already and then installed 2.53. The real problem is that the path where 2.53 is located /usr/local/bin isn't found.

my question is obviously how do I get DP to find autoconf 2.53?
where is DP getting the paths from and how do I add /usr/local/bin to it?
