Dashboard Widgets not showing up

A few days ago I tried creating a Web clipping in Safari. The clip was never created and when I pressed F12 to see the dash board all the widgets were gone. The Plus sign is there, and it works but when I click on a widget to add it to the dashboard it just beeps at me. I went to another login, but no luck the widget are not showing up there either. I even tried creating a new login. I tried moving the preferences from ~User/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dashboard.*. No luck. The only thing that shows up is the Widget manager window.
Any Ideas?
