Hi,
I have an Iomega 33748 USB 2.0 1TB 2HD x 500GB Desktop Hard Drive that is raid 0 that was struck by lightning a week ago.
My Imac survived the strike thank you mac gods
I took the drive to a local Data recovery center and was told drives are ok and all they need to do is re strip the drives to recover the data.
So I called around to get some quotes and they rang from $1450 to $5600 to recover the data.
I have looked online to see if I can buy a replacement Iomega 33748 drive and just swop out the hard drives my self to recover my data but the unit is discontinued and I can't find one any where.
My question is can I buy a different Raid 0 enclosure and put the drive in to the new enclosure will I be able to recover my data?
I just don't want to gouged to get my data back.
Thanks
Nicole
