Date Resuce Queries, please help.

I did a quick scan using DATA RESCUE II, and there were no files recovered! Does this mean, I won't be able to recover my files anymore? :(

I also tried using Disk Warrior first; but it just got stuck at Step 5: Locating directory data. What should I do now?

If Diskwarrior got stuck at step 5, that is definitely pointing to a bad HD. Did Diskwarrior say "speed reduced by disk malfunction" while at step 5? You can run a thorough scan with Data Rescue II but it almost seems hopeless. If the data is really valuable you may want to quit cranking on it with DW and DR II
so there may be some hope for data recovery from the pros.
