Daughter wants a Mac Mini

I had someone send me this link also, but then I thought...

"What about warranty and support??"

Will this be included with the Mac mini from this site? I would rather just buy one from Apple along with the AppleCare protection.
 
We've already discussed these "schemes" multiple times on this site... Yes, the do work for the first few folks, but that's due to the nature of pyramid schemes.

Including this one that is surely nothing more than an email collection device for spammers!

Don't waste your time or that of your friends on "free" anyting... It's a scam!
 
If you're using a .mac email, sign up with an alias email Address, do your thing lol, and then deactivate the alias. No spam.
 
As for support, no matter where you buy it from, once you register a new mac, you and apple know each other... You can get support directly from apple, no matter where you buy it.

And apple care can be purchased after the initial sale of the machine. As long as its purchased before the year of free limited support is up.
 
In answer to the question about support. The company in question, orders the product from Apple and comes with the full Apple warranty and support just as if you bought it directly from Apple yourself.

Yes it works, yes there are lots of scams out there. And yes, nothing is every totally free. But you can still usually come out ahead if you do some research.

Is there anyone out there that did this "Free Mini Mac" thing and actually got something? It sort of looks like a scam to me.
 
They are all scams. It is a pyramid scheme where a few will get something but the majority will get the shaft.
