alright, i got dave installed on my computer-- can anyone walk me through how to find the pcs on the network?
here's the setup:
the pcs are running win2k, all connected to a hub (there are 3 of them).
my mac is connected to the hub as well, running 10.1.3 with DAVE for X installed.
there's a cable modem connected to the uplink in the hub, dishing out IPs to each of the computers.
i attempted to set up dave, thinking it was easy. i named my computer, put in the workgroup, and hit "connect to server" hoping the pcs show up... nada.
apparently i have to set up the PCs as well... any ideas as to how? i've got NO experience with win2k.
