Delete main User

I want to delete the main user and recreate. The reaso i want to do this is because i got i kernel panic and and i cant mount my ipod or cd's. I created a new user and loged in with it and everything worked. I remember in OS 9 you could boot from the cd and and delete user prefs and recreate the user.

The only way I have EVER found to delete the old computer "owner" is to reinstall the system and recreate your "owner" account. You could also try booting into OS 9 and deleting your old user account, making sure you have one in there, but this might cause problems and I don't recommend it. You'd likely be better off just doing a clean archive and install.
