Desktop Stuck, sys prefs quit when try to change

I downloaded this Webshots thing for putting pictures online, and one of my pictures accidently set as my desktop. I tried to go into Sys Prefs and change it, and it quits. I can't change the desktop for the life of me, System Prefs keeps quitting. how can i reset it or something? System 10.3.

Try repairing permissions under Disk Utility. You could also try updating to 10.3.8, sometimes updates do wonders for strange problems. You could also reinstall Mac OS X if all else fails.
 
Have you quit out of the webshots thingy before trying to change back your desktop? Also you could try just relaunching Finder or rebooting.
