Detailed interface stats

Is there a way for me to gather more detailed interface stats than is available from "netstat -i"? In particular, I'm looking for details on physical errors, i.e. was an error caused by a CRC, runt, ring buffer overflow, etc.

Perhaps similar to a "netstat -k" in Solaris?
