I am running on OS10.5.8.
I just installed Aperture. Then I noticed the desktop images that I put up were gone. I went to System Prefs/Desktop. In the list is the Apple dropdown folder and 2 Aperture dropdown folders. Although only 1 of the Aperture folders actually seems to open.
The folder I put in the list with my personal images in it is gone. I went into the Library (where I have my images in a folder) and the folder was still there. When I went back to Sys Prefs to add the folder in again it says, " The folder you selected is already present in the picture source list." Uh, no it's not. At least I can't see it.
It's only giving me a choice to use the factory issued Apple desktop images or import all my stuff into Aperture in order to see them (which I don't want to do). Has anyone heard of this happening? Any suggestions how I can get my images back up on my desktop?
