Granted, I haven't been on this site in ages. And now I see this "In memory of Bobw..." WHAT happened to him? :(

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Bobw passed away recently. Scott broke the sad news on July 24th. There is more information in a thread about Bobw within the Site Discussion forum.
 
holy ###, sorry i wasn't around, we hadn't chatted on aim for ages, dammit we kept missing each other, ### guys, wish i'd new, rest in peace buddy.
 
OMG ... jeez. I don't know what to say. Bob was always so kind and such a great help to me. Well, thank you for letting me know, everyone. This Web site has definitely lost a great contributor ... but his knowledge and helpful posts will live on.

I just read the first page of that thread. Does anyone know what happened? I mean, what the cause of death was? I didn't even realize he was that old. (Was he?) Was it a heart attack?

Sorry, I don't mean to pry, I'm just curious. He was definitely one of my favorite mods on this site. Always so helpful with a great sense of humor to boot. He helped me on numerous occasions. I'll miss him dearly.
