Different Users Share Drive Icons?

I have custom icons for my drives that are Vargas girls. To my surprise, they also show up on my girlfriend's account. Can I prevent this? It doesn't seem right. She don't want chicks for drive icons ... Also, she gets my XSounds ...?
 
there are two kinds of gui mods, ones that are system wide, and others that are only per user. i believe that icons and xsounds are system wide, so there is not much you can do unless someone else here has found a way around that.
 
I dont know much about custom icons, but if these custom icons have anything to do with "Library" folders:

1. The "Library" folder on Macintosh HD is for the whole system
2. The "Library" folder in a User's home folder is for that user only.

If possible to tell me, where did you get this mod?
Then I might be able to help more.
 
I figured out XSounds. If you install "For all Users," whatever one user sets all users get. If you install for "Current User only," no problems.

The icons were just cut and pasted in the finder info window.
 
the icons show for all users, by default. haven't found a way to do it different.
the icons sho even if you connect to the mac remotely, or have it as server...
