Direct Connect for mac?

Hi!,

I downloaded a Java Version od DC and it is really crap but it is working. I looke at DC´s homepage at http://www.neo-modus.com and under the news in the second newest thread you can read:

I've spent the last couple of months working on a new code base for Direct Connect. Initially this code will see a Mac OSX GUI, followed by GNU/Linux GUI, and finally and Windows GUI - BeOS users might be in for a surprise too. There is no release date set.


Dos that means it coming for mac?, please, please it have to do!!

Excuse an ignorant fool, but what is Direct Connect? what does it do?

It is a filesharing p2p program based around a hub system. It has been out for a while and is a nice overall program but you have to find the right servers to really make it worth it.
