hi
i use a belkin wifi card for 802.11G on a titanium notebook.
this usually works great, but often when i put the card into the powerbook, and turn-on airport, the airport automatically switches into 'internet-sharing-mode', so it doesn't connect to the wifi-network.
the only way to finally connect to a wifi-network then is these steps:
- (also ) turn on ethernet (or switch to a location that has both airport and ethernet)
- go to the sharing-prefs, and turn on "Share internet From ethernet TO airport"
- and then turn that OFF again
only then i'm able to connect wireless.
i already tried to delete all sorts of prefs, resetting pram and all other options that might be causing airport to go into 'sharing-mode' but no success...
anyone any idea where these settings are stored?
firewall? anything?
thanks
