hi
i want to create a (back-up) disk-image of an imac g5 with a certain configuration (tiger+updates, custom-made/-installed software and libraries etc..). but doing this, disk utilty complains that there's not enough free space on the target disk.
the entire disk in the iMac has a capacity of 160 Gb, but there's only around 16Gb used.
i've created (bootable) diskimages before, and usually the resulting diskimage s are about the size of the amount of data.
the target-disk has at least 60Gb of free space, which should be plenty..
but in this case it seems as if disk-utility tries to create an image of over 16 Gb.
has anyone an idea of what's going wrong?
thanks
